SPECIAL TILTABLE CHILL-MOLD CASTING MACHINE
 
    Special chill-mold casting machine is used for production of large dimension lengthy castings by method of self-pouring of aluminum alloys into chill mold with horizontal split as well as by method of self-pouring of chill mold.
 
    Control system is electric. It ensures the operation in adjusting (step-by-step) and semiautomatic mode.
 
    The machine is recommended for equipping the foundries of small-scale as well as large-scale and mass production of castings.

REFINING PLANT (DEGASSER)
 
Refining Plant (Degasser)    Refining plant is used for elimination from melt of dissolved gases such as nitrogen and hydrogen, oxides, slag and other nonmetallics by melt treatment with fine-dispersed bubbles of inert gas.
 
    Operating principle of the plant is based on uniform distribution throughout all melt volume of fine-dispersed bubbles of gas, which emerge and carry on the surface of melt the nonmetallics and diffusing in them, dissolved in melt, gases. Owing to rotor rotation at a specified rate, which has a special configuration, it appears a lot of small bubbles ensuring the best effect of the melt refining. Design and dimensions of the rotor depends on liquid metal volume and geometric size of ladle.
 
    Application of rotors allows reducing gas saturation of aluminum three-four times.
 
    We can offer you for choice two types of plants for blowing of liquid aluminum with inert gas - argon or nitrogen using the rotor:
    1. stationary plant.
    2. mobile plant.
 
    Stationary plants are used for alloy refinement after delivery of liquid aluminum from melting furnace into pouring (transporting) ladles. Allot treatment is carried out directly in pouring ladle.
 
    Mobile plants can be used when blowing alloy directly on-site in distributing furnace.
